Paying for inexpensive funeral costs

Sometimes there are those extra costs to a funeral that we didn’t plan for or weren’t aware of. Also if you are planning a funeral on a budget, you won’t need much more than a few thousand dollars for a direct burial or cremation.

I’ve personally used three different companies for smaller loans like this and so I can recommend MaxLend, BlueTrust Loans, and OppLoans,

BlueTrust Loans

I quite like this company as it’s part of the Hummingbird Funds group which is run for the benefit of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians who are located in Hayward, Wisconsin.

Just be aware the the “tribe” chooses not to provide loans to serving military personal or their families and does not qualify loans for residents of the following states: Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin or West Virginia

Maxlend

Maxlend is a loan brokerage owned and run on the behalf of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation which is based in North Dakota. I really don’t have much to say about this company other than I got my loan, financed my small home renovation project (you can use the loan for anything), and then paid it back as agreed in the contract. It was really as smooth as that for me.

OppLoans

This is a loan broker out of Chicago but they have lots of affiliated brokers around the country to meet your needs. Standard underwriting practices are observed which means this company will not give you a loan unless you are capable of paying it back, that makes these guys 100% above board, which is actually why I wanted to work with them

Covering full funeral costs

If you need to cover the expense of a funeral and you don’t have any other resources then a loan is a final option to give your loved one at least a dignified send off.

Remember to shop around for the best funeral price as well as the best loan deals. Never pay more than you can, funerals can be much more affordable than the initial prices quoted to you by a funeral director! For me personally, if I ever need a loan of $10,000 or more I live Supermoney.com

Supermoney

When it comes to a slightly bigger loan, I can recommend Supermoney. I got myself a car loan through this company but I actually got to talking with a broker about their funeral expenses loans. These will allow you to cover the higher costs of a full funeral service, either a burial or a cremations.
