When the worst happens and somebody important in your life dies, the Bible is a great source of support and comfort. It helps us to remember the true path of life and that eternal life awaits all those who believe.
Bible verses are not only very useful for self-reflection, but they also help us produce a fitting eulogy for a person of faith as well as a great addition to an obituary or even as an epitaph engraved on a headstone.

Bible verses From The New Testament For Funerals

Bible that follows the life and teachings of the Messiah. It also stands as a document that show contemporary advice given out to the new followers of Christ and the fledgling Christian church over 2,000 years ago.

For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to God.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
